Planned Preventative Maintenance

VISTEC offer a full Planned Preventative Maintenance service for all systems we supply and for those of most other leading manufacturers. Gas sensor calibration drifts with time and gas detection systems require regular calibration and checking as per the manufacturers guidelines. Planned preventative maintenance reduces nuisance alarms and gives you assurance that your system is operating correctly

Service & Training

VISTEC offers a wide range of tailored service contracts to ensure that your gas detection system is correctly maintained and calibrated. We also offer training to help your staff understand the workings of the system which enables them to carry out routine performance checks.

We’ve got you covered

Annual Service Agreement

Our Annual Service Agreements offer from 1 to 4 service visits a year and include in hour call outs for calibration errors. Once an annual Service Agreement is in place it is entered on our Customer Data Management system, which will flag when each visit is due and identify when consumables are due for replacement.

On completion of each visit our engineer will leave a signed service docket on our standard Service Report form itemising work carried out and any defects identified. Our engineers carry a full range of spares and most defects can be rectified at the time of the service (always with prior agreement from our customer).

No more nuisance

Calibration & Testing

Nuisance alarms can be expensive, leading to a loss of production, loss of heating, loss of gas supply to kitchens, laboratories, etc.

While nuisance alarms are annoying, if the sensor calibration drifts the other way the system may not alarm in the event of a gas leak. The only way to ensure that a gas detection system is operating correctly is with regular calibration and testing.
